*WARNING — If your ISP is www.wowway.com, some of these reports will be blocked. We have no idea why. This is an ISP whose idea of 'customer service' is to make it effectively impossible to contact them to resolve problems or to find out why messages are being blocked. We've done everything we can to resolve this issue with them, but unless you're based in the USA there's no way to even open a dialogue with them. They offer no postmaster access, the standard protocol for ISPs. The messages being blocked have SpamAssassin® scores lower than 2.9 (most are below 1.9) — well under the generally accepted threshold for spam (5.0).

The Bottom Line: if your ISP is www.wowway.com, there's a strong probability that valid email messages addressed to you — including messages you've requested — are being refused at the server, and you'll never know. If this is your idea of acceptable customer service, do nothing. If it's not, please let them know.

If the staff at your local Post Office routinely destroyed your snail mail, they'd wouldn't just be fired. They'd be jailed.

In principle, there's no difference.
